Khloe Kardashian, 29, and Lamar Odom, 34, have started seeing a marriage counselor. The couple have been living apart for weeks (if not months) as a result of Lamar’s drug problem. The two attended a therapy session with a counselor in Beverly Hills on November 8, and their session lasted over two hours according to Us Weekly.
“It was very emotional,” the site reports. “They spoke about all of their issues.” The pair drove to the session separately.
“Khloe still loves and cares about him,” a source reveals. “But healing will take a long time.” Another source says, “[Lamar] is clean and has gained 20 pounds. He’s doing so much better.”
Also, Khloe Instagrammed a picture of a gigantic bouquet on Nov. 8. Khloe’s photo of the flowers — about four or five dozen of dark pink, light pink, and white roses — had a caption that said, “Sweet November.”
If they were from Lamar, and they went to therapy on the same day, things could really be looking up for the couple! The marriage counselor isn’t the only person reportedly helping Lamar out, though.
Lamar has been spending a lot of time at Bruce Jenner’s new home in Malibu as he tries to work through his alleged drug issues. Bruce, 64, has even been giving Lamar advice on how to stay clean and who to hang out with, according to a new report from TMZ.
Bruce, who has said that he loves Lamar and believes he’s a “good soul,” has been telling friends that his son-in-law is clean and sober.
Gotta hand it to her for not quickly divorcing him and moving on. I think the reason she’s fighting so hard to save her marriage is because she really loves him. I can’t imagine being in her shoes, but good for her for sticking it out! Hopefully he can keep his act together, and they can make it work.
On the plus side – she looks fabulous – doesn’t she?
